A poem
In a matter of seconds,
Life can change.
You just said someone ‘I love you’,
And God decided to take him away.
In a matter of seconds,
A tide can change its course.
You just wish you showed how much you care,
But destiny chose to close all your doors.
In a matter of seconds,
You cut your parents call on a busy day.
A mother wanted to share that she misses you.
But making money was a priority instead.
In a matter of seconds,
Everything can be taken away.
Just stop and just live a little,
And do things that you wouldn’t dream of,
So that you can narrate interesting stories to your grandchildren.
Do that thing that causes butterflies in your tummy.
Don’t think about what anyone would say,
As they will not be the author of your story.
Do it and don’t ever regret.
Because it’s your life,
And you must make the most of it,
With experiences you’ve never thought would happen.
