If you’re staring at the screen
Wondering what I should write.
If your mind, body, and heart
Need to relax or unwind.
Don’t force it to work overtime
To soothe your guilt.
The output will be unsatisfactory,
Leaving you unfulfilled.

If the break lasts more than a week or two,
Don’t stress, focus on the present and enjoy a coffee or two.
There is only so much we can sink in and get done in a day.
But right now, rest.
Eventually, everything will fall in place.

Sometimes the road towards your destination looks unfamiliar. You are forced to keep going with the faith that you will reach where you are meant to be.

Maybe while getting there, you face many hurdles and emotionally draining situations. But once you reach your destination and look back, you will realise that everything had to happen the exact way it did and you wouldn’t want to change any of it.
